Biography

Graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at Tel-Aviv University in 1982, and completed the post graduate program in oral pathology from the School of Dental Medicine at Tel-Aviv University in 1995. Currently, she runs the oral pathology services in two major medical centers (Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel-Aviv and Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson Campus in Petah-Tikva, Isreal). She is Clinical Professor of Pathology at the School of Medicine and Clinical Professor of Oral Pathology at the School of Dental Medicine, Tel-Aviv University. Combining both basic and clinical research, Prof. Kaplan is the author of more than 70 scientific articles, with a main interest in odontogenic cysts and tumors, oral pre-malignant diseases and oral malignancy.
